- Dave & Martha Briggs
- Todd Heidenreich
- Doug Hoylman

- Nathaniel Klinger
- Carol Loman
- Eric Reinhold
As a bunch more of us arrived, we broke into two groups. At one table were Todd, Aubrey, Carol, Doug and Leslie fighting it out for galactic domination in Race for the Galaxy with The Gathering Storm. Final scores (cards + victory chips + 6 cards + goals): Leslie 20+3+8+3=34, Carol 17+5+6+5=33, Aubrey 12+8+2+8=30, Todd 16+3+5+3=27, Doug 20+3+0+3=26.
Ben really likes Ra and since it's an excellent game, I brought it along. Joining us were Dave B, Shannon & Eric. I got insanely lucky during the 2nd round when everyone else had used up all their sun tiles and I was able to purchase around 15 tiles without opposition. But more notable were Dave's Sun tiles during the second round. I've never seen anyone capture all three lowest tiles before. This really is a remarkable accomplishment.
Final scores were Bob 50, Shannon 36, Ben 26, Eric 25 and Dave B. 25. The fact that Dave caught Ben and Eric is also quite remarkable.Ben asked Aubrey to play two player Blokus and Aubrey obliged. Aubrey won with 13 squares left to Ben's 20.
When Martha arrived, she joined Dave and Doug in one of the group's favorites, Blue Moon City Final scores were Doug 5, Dave 4 Martha 4. A very close game.
While they played BMC, the rest of us brought out another "city" game, Big City. This was a wickedly nasty game even though one of the factories wasn't played. I started out incredibly slowly, building towards a shopping center. I was successful, but not before Shannon built the other one. Alas, it wasn't enough to keep Nathaniel from the win, although that would have changed had we not run out of certain tiles. Final scores: Nathaniel 73, Eric 71, Bob 70, Aubrey 70, Shannon 68. This is probably the closest game of BC from first to last place I've ever seen.
Since the store was open till midnight, a group stayed after 10PM to play a couple more games I've never heard of. Both look interesting.
Gemlok: Nathaniel 56, Leslie 51, Doug 46
Wicked Witches Way: Nathaniel 26, Doug 25, Leslie 13
