While still somehat fresh in my memory let me share our Saturday gaming with you. We had a good crowd for the day and were able to play quite a few games.

We started with a game of Ticket to Ride -Mega game with five of us in the cafe area, Doug arriving after the game had started. Early on LA became crowded out, and then all approaches to connections became crowded. It was a competitive game with routes disappearing quickly. Finished with Karl 132, Jack 118, Debbie 106, Fran 100, Leslie 82.

We were then able to move to the Community Room for the rest of the gaming. We started with a game Dominoes teaching Doug our scoring system. The game moved quickly with Fran scoring nothing for the first four rounds and then jumping into the lead quickly. Final scoring Fran 403, Doug 365, Jack 330, Debbie 324, Leslie 204, and Karl 198.

We then broke into two groups of three. Debbie, Karl and Leslie played Chinatown as Karl owns it and wanted to play it at least once. Our final scores (000) were Debbie 1520, Karl 1350, and Leslie 1310. While we three were playing Chinatown the other three actually made it through two games.

First up Fran, Jack, and Doug played Aquadukt with Doug winning. Next up was Carcasonne which Doug also won. We then switched around the groups a bit and Karl, Doug and Leslie played Ticket to Ride-Nordic Countries. Leslie 148, Doug 127, Karl 115. Debbie, Fran and Jack played Settlers of Catan and called it when Ticket ended with Fran at 7, Debbie at 4, and Jack at 2.

We then joined up and played Lucky Loop, which no one had played before so there were some learning curve issues but I think we played it correctly. Fran won completing her free flight with only two other players eligible to try for a free flight.

Karl had to leave so we played another 5 player Ticket to Ride-Mega game, this time Atlanta was the city in demand. Leslie 145, Doug 127, Fran 114, Debbie 110, Jack 106.

The final game of the day was Qwirkle Cube, with several Qwirkle's during play the game was quite close. Fran 79, Debbie 75, Leslie 67, Doug 66, Jack 64.

We then left the Common Market and parted company. I hope everyone had a good day of gaming and a safe trip home.
